We are called and equipped by the Holy Spirit to share God’s love by participating in the ministry of Jesus. He has given us agency with Him to fearlessly influence our society and the world. When we serve in the world and in His Church, we impact those around us and reveal God’s glory.

Through this in-depth study of serving the community, disciples will understand that God has uniquely formed and made them, providing them with natural talents, spiritual gifts, and particular passion, in order to serve inside and outside the church. It is through engaging these God-given gifts and passions that we find our place and change the world.

Each participant and leader need a workbook, also available in print format. In addition, leaders need the ability to play teaching videos during group discussion.

Digital resources include everything from printed resources and are available in the Rooted Network Digital Hub when connected to the internet. While connected to the Digital Hub via an internet connection, users can read content, take notes, and answer questions for future reference in the Digital Hub. Main Idea: Christians are sent into a world broken by sin as part of God’s plan of healing and redemption.

Week 3: What Difference Can I Make?
Main Idea: God calls Christians to a lifestyle of faithful service that is engaged in bringing His kingdom to bear.

Week 4: What Should My Attitude Be?
Main Idea: Christian service is not marked by pride in the saving of others, but instead joyful and humble gratitude born from their own experience with Jesus.

Week 5: What’s Holding You Back?
Main Idea: Christians should boldly and joyfully accept God’s call on their lives to serve.
